Some of these guys are so underrated you might not know who they are.
Number one on the list is Loui Eriksson of the Dallas Stars.
Next is Frans Nielsen of the Islanders and third is a tie between Travis Zajac of the New Jersey Devils and Patrick Sharp of the Blackhawks. This is Zajac's fifth year with the Devils and it may be his weakest, but that's not his fault. His numbers reflect how poorly the Devils have played. Imagine where they would be without him.
This has been an important year for Sharp as the talent level on the Stanley Cup champions is considerably lower than it was last year, yet Sharp already has 46 points.
It is interesting to note that Pavel Datsyuk was number seven on this list. This guy is thought of as being underrated, even though he leads a couple categories.
